Rocks is a personal tool in active use by its operator — not a consumer SaaS with public accounts, and not medical advice. This page is honest about that scope. We do not claim enterprise compliance certifications we have not earned.

Who this covers

pickrocks.com is the marketing and trust site (this page). The app — the lobby, desk, and jar — lives at make.rocks.fit. Mail is hello@pickrocks.com and support@pickrocks.com, never an @rocks.fit inbox.

This marketing site

These pages are static files on Firebase Hosting. There is no account, no waitlist form, and no ad pixel we added. We do not need cookies to show you this copy. The host may log ordinary request data (IP, user agent, path) the way any CDN does.

The app (local-first, for now)

Rocks you capture — ranks, time-costs, walk-away sentences — are stored in the browser (a client store / localStorage) on the device that uses the desk. That is the system of record today. Clearing site data on that browser clears the jar. We are not running a product database of other people’s rocks.

Sign-in

The app uses Firebase Authentication with Google. Only an allowlisted operator may stay signed in; other Google accounts are signed out. That gate exists so the operator isn’t tied to a single browser profile. It is not a public signup, and it is not an invitation for everyone who lands here.

Google and Firebase (Google Cloud) process the sign-in. We do not sell that event, and we do not use it to build an advertising profile.
